The Restless Ghost of Emma CrawfordThe Elegant Specter of Manitou Springs, Colorado

From Massachusetts, Emma Crawford ventures here to seek The miracle that lurks beneath the shadow of Pikes Peak, But she will never live to be a mother or a wife. When she is only twenty-seven, illness claims her life. Before she dies, however, Emma journeys to the crest Of Red Chief Mountain, on the spot she later comes to rest. The Southern Wind brings love—at least, the opportunity. The Northern Wind is greatly feared. Its cold and bitter breath Brings darkness and uncertainty. To Emma, it brings death, But even in her body’s death, her problems do not cease, And she must be resourceful if she hopes to rest in peace. Ideal for Community Theatres. Flexible Cast of 3-7.
